GraniteWare Cookware

An American Cookware Story

— Since 1871 —

GraniteWare has been a part of American kitchens for nearly 150 years. It is the original speckled cookware that has helped generations of families turn holiday feasts and everyday meals into cherished memories. The term “graniteware” comes from the unusual color pattern, as it mimics actual granite.

GraniteWare is made by fusing porcelain to a steel core at 1,500 ºF. The steel core provides strength and even heat distribution while the porcelain surface is inert and naturally nonstick. Porcelain is all natural and will not alter the color, taste or nutritional value of your food. There is no PTFE, PFOA or other unhealthy chemicals in Granite•Ware.

As Lodge is to cast iron, GraniteWare is to roasting pans. Their Inner core distributes heat evenly and quickly and the dark surface absorbs heat quickly, lowering cooking times. Most of all, they are lightweight and easy to handle. The smooth glass surface allows for easy cleaning.

Affordable
Affordable prices also make this cookware a reasonable choice for our budget minded customers.
Also, many GraniteWare pieces fit into the All American SUN OVEN® – the cookware of choice to use as dark, thin-walled pots with lids work best.
