Boroux Proactive Fluoride Filter
The BOROUX Proactive Fluoride Filter is a high-performance, alumina-free solution that removes up to 99% of fluoride. Its patent-pending upflow design and dual-layer nano-carbon filtration maximize time and efficiency. Housed in durable stainless steel shells, it’s works with Foundation and Black Berkey filters, delivering up to 1,000 gallons of clean, fluoride-reduced water per pair.
How it works
STAGE 1 – Foundation Filter: Initial Filtration
Water first passes through the activated-carbon BOROUX Foundation filter, which:
- Reduces chlorine, sediment, and other contaminants
- Improves taste and odor
- Prepares water for fluoride removal
STAGE 2 – Proactive Filter: Advanced Fluoride Removal
The pre-filtered water then flows through our patent-pending dual-layer system:
- Layer 1: Advanced granulated carbon for initial polishing
- Layer 2: Hybrid nano-carbon media for final fluoride capture
- UPFLOW design maximizes contact time and efficiency
UPFLOW DESIGN – How It Works:
- Water flows through dual-layer media, enhancing contact with filtration materials
- Filtered water exits from the top, using the full surface area of the filter
- Upflow design increases efficiency and extends filter life by up to 20%
